Adult Small Group: Give It Up!
The power of release brings great gain. What holds your attention and occupies your mind? If you discovered the answer was your cell phone, online gaming, or Facebook, you could give it up for a week if you wanted to, right? But if challenged to do so, would you? What if saying “yes” to this challenge of letting go brought you closer to God? Take a journey of self-discovery and learn how the power of release brings great gain as you meet and discuss in this small group.

Adult Small Group: Parables and Passion
In holding up the lessons of the parables Jesus told in light of his betrayal and death on the cross, the parables take on a new significance, even more transparent and more clearly applicable in the lives of Christian believers. This small group will dig into weekly lessons and reflection while exploring passages during the spiritual journey of Lent.

Lent Sermon Series – March 10 through April 21
In our Lenten series we will read and contemplate Luke’s account of Jesus’ suffering and death. Each week, we will read a different section of the story; and each week, the gospel of Luke will take us to a different place. Our focus will not only be on these physical places but instead we will gaze in wonder on the spiritual work that our Lord does there. Jesus will share his strength in our times of weakness. He will fill us with his praise in the midst of sorrow. Plan to come to our Lenten services this year and enter into these places of devotion, for there your Lord will meet you, sharing with you his wondrous love.
