Lenten Food Challenge – Lakes Area Food Shelf
Grace UMC and other area churches are collecting food donations to benefit the local food shelf.  Each week the focus is on a different need for the Food Shelf.  In addition to the items below, cash contributions are welcome.
  • Week of February 18th -> Peanut Butter
  • Week of February 25th -> Cereal
  • Week of March 3rd -> Canned meats and Proteins
  • Week of March 10th -> Paper towels and toilet paper
  • Week of March 17th -> Final Offering

The Art of Christianity
What:   Christianity through Art
When:  Saturday February 17th
              Saturday, March 23rd
Time:   11 am – 2 pm (each day)
Details: The event will be an informal discussion and review of Christianity expressed through art.  The event will be a visual  presentation. The presentation will be open; people can share their own opinions, interpretations, and thoughts.  Snacks and beverages will be provided with a suggested donation of $5 to cover expenses.  The sessions on the two dates will be with different material, so join one or both.

Details: Get your ovens ready!  Do you have a favorite hot dish you like to eat?  Bring you favorite and come join the fun as we fellowship together by eating, enjoying, and judging everyone’s favorite hot dish.   Hot Dish bakers are needed!!  Please signup on the sheet that  is located in the narthex.
